Hello Face Dancer Fans!

It seems like it was only a few years ago that Face Dancer performed our last show at the Recher Theater in Towson, Maryland. What?  Oh. It WAS only a few years ago. Anyway, we all kind of went back to our collective ways when, during the summer of 2008, we were contacted by Rock Candy Records. They had secured the rights from EMI/Capitol Records to our first album “This World” and planned to re-master and release it on CD.

Well, they did!  It’s out now and available through Rock Candy Records.  You can get your copy by visiting www.rockcandyrecords.co.uk

So, this year we’re celebrating the 30th anniversary release of our first album "This World." It is amazing how many people around the world have told us that it’s one of their favorite albums. Yikes!  And this comes from many people who never even saw the band perform live! It’s very exciting and rewarding to have a chance for our ‘older’ fans to finally get a digital copy of one of their favorites and to share our music with those who are just discovering Face Dancer.  While some listen to our music to re-live the memories of their youth, we think new fans will find the songs just as relevant to today’s world.
